SAAB

The Student Academic Affairs Board (SAAB) is a unique part of your student government, the Associated Students of Lewis & Clark (ASLC). Created in 1982, SAAB is composed of one student representative from each academic department. The Board meets weekly to discuss issues of academic importance to the student body: curriculum matters, the academic calendar, the senior capstone/keystone experience, faculty retention, general education requirements, etc. Additionally, SAAB sponsors a campus-wide tutoring program, in which students can receive two free hours of tutoring per week per department, as well as peer academic advising.

New! See SAAB's synopsis of the CAP report: CAP Made Easy.

SAAB also sponsors a competitive grant program for student-motivated research and projects.
