Culture Capsules - Have a look at web pages made by intermediate level ESL students at Lewis & Clark College. Students wrote about and found pictures of people, places and processes from their country. They worked with partners from different countries and then compared their cultures. This is an easy and interesting way to both read about and see what other cultures are like!

Cultural Profiles Project (ANMI Centre, University of Toronto) - What a wonderful resource! Would you like to know about the geography/climate, history, family life, food, education, holidays, sports, and more about 100 countries of the world? And also see beautiful photos too? You can do that at this site, sponsored by Citizen and Immigration Canada. When people immigrate into Canada, a host is chosen to welcome them and help them adjust to the country.
