Set in a corner of the campus at the edge of a wooded ravine, many Copeland rooms offer views of the surrounding woods. Copeland offers primarily coed floors with some all-female floors. The building consists of six connected wings, each with up to four floors housing eight to thirteen people in single, double and quad occupancy rooms. Each room has cable capability. A small kitchen and lounge complete every floor. A student run social space called the Rusty Nail is housed on the first floor of Copeland. Open nightly, the Nail provides a variety of snack items and offers mellow entertainment in a relaxed atmosphere. The Environmental Action theme floor is housed in Copeland's C wing.

Copeland is the largest Residence Hall building at Lewis & Clark and boasts an incredible Main Lounge with a central fire place to keep you warm on those raining Portland winter evenings. Our floors are all small enough to allow a personal feeling yet the building is large enough that you'll always be able to find a place for a little privacy.
