Hartzfeld, an Extended Quiet Hours community, houses 104 students in four two-story buildings and is primarily available to sophmores and above. First year students interested in a quiet study environment may apply to live in Hartzfeld; however, priority is given to sophomore, junior, and senior residents. Four students in two adjoining rooms share bath facilities. A coed complex, Hartzfeld's suites are alternated according to sex. Each unit has a cozy lounge with a fireplace and a small kitchen.
