Political Economy

Political economy is a minor that combines the analysis and examination of the relations between marketplace and statehouse, public and private life, and politics and the economy. The minor can add critical theoretical and practical perspectives to a variety of majors at the College. Thus, the political economy minor is a highlyintegrative process with faculty from different departments that focuses on the construction and maintenance of, and interrelationships within, the hierarchies of power.
