Eric Parsons ‘70

Eric Parsons is the Board Chair of StanCorp Financial Group, Inc. and Standard Insurance Company of Portland, Oregon.  Eric also serves as Chair of the Oregon Community Foundation, Vice Chair of the Oregon Health and Science University Foundation Board of Trustees; Past Chair of the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute Community Council and is a senior director of the Oregon Business Council. 
 
Mr. Parsons is a member of the Board of Directors of the Start Making a Reader Today (SMART) and a Trustee of Lewis and Clark College. 
 
Eric is a 1970 graduate of Lewis & Clark College where he earned a Bachelors Arts Degree.    He and his wife, Janet, also an alumna (B.A. 1972) have three adult children.
