Christopher Jay ’72
Chris Jay is Senior Vice President-Wealth Management, Senior Financial Advisor in the Financial Services Industry for the last forty years. In February of 2015, Mr. Jay was named one of the Top 1000 Financial Consultants by Barron’s Magazine. He is a 1972 Alumnus of Lewis & Clark College, and later earned a Masters Degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1975.
Since 1988, he has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Lewis & Clark College, and has participated on a number of committees. Mr. Jay was awarded the Don Balmer Alumni Award in 1996 for outstanding voluntary service to the college and was instrumental in seeing the development and completion of the York monument on campus dedicated in Spring, 2010.
Trustee Jay is active in the Anchorage business and social communities, and has been involved in a number of city and state-wide boards and commissions. He is married to Mardra Jay, and they have three children, one daughter-in-law, one grandson and one granddaughter.
