Jouni J. Korhonen ‘82

Jouni Korhonen is currently a Senior Vice President and head of the Portfolio Risk Management Division at Union Bank of California. Before joining UBOC in 2006, Mr. Korhonen held the position of Senior Vice President and Manager of Credit Risk Architecture at Wells Fargo Bank. Previously, he was Managing Director of Credit Products at Bank of America. His earlier positions at the bank included the Regional Manager of the Middle East & North Africa (Dubai, UAE); and Manager of the  Europe/Middle East/Africa Division’s Agency Department (London, U.K.).

Mr. Korhonen received a Bachelor of Arts, as a double major in international affairs and business administration, from Lewis & Clark College in 1982. He went on to earn a masters degree from Harvard University.

Mr. Korhonen and his wife, Amal A. Mansour (’83) live in the Bay Area with their two daughters.
