Wes Lawrence ’81
Wesley Lawrence is the retired president of the Rocky Mountain and Northwest Region of KeyBank, where he oversaw seven districts comprised of Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Seattle-Cascades, South Puget Sound, and Utah. Mr. Lawrence joined KeyBank in 1984 as a Vice President.
Mr. Lawrence lives in Central Oregon where he operates an equity fund that owns renewable energy companies. He also runs Lawrence & Company consulting, focused on general business and financial consulting. He is still deeply involved in the Portland community and Central Oregon communities. He currently serves on the NWBCA Leadership Council, the Pacific Coast Banking School Board of Directors, and the Board of Directors for Caldera. He has previously served on the boards of the Portland Art Museum, SOLV, Portland Baseball Commission, Oregon Bankers Association and the Multnomah Athletic Club, and served out an appointment by the governor of the State of Oregon Debt Policy Commission.
Wes is a 1981 graduate of Lewis & Clark College where he received a B.A. in Economics, and a 1993 graduate of University of Washington’s Pacific Coast Banking School.. Mr. Lawrence and his wife, Karen Benson Lawrence, live in Black Butte.
