Ronald Ragen
Ronald Ragen has been a lawyer with Davis Wright Tremaine since 1961. His areas of emphasis include international business, municipal finance, securities, real estate, and corporate law. In addition to a general corporate practice he represents clients from throughout Asia, as well as West Coast based businesses involved in transactions with Pacific Rim countries.
Mr. Ragen received his B.A. from Yale University in 1957, and his J.D. from Stanford University in 1961.
Mr. Ragen has served as the Chair of the Board of Trustees, as a member of the Board of Visitors for Lewis & Clark’s Law School, the Yale University Development Board, and the Board of Visitors for Stanford University’s Institute for International Studies. He is a past Chair of the Oregon International Trade Commission and was also Chair of the Portland Performing Arts Center Committee which, over 8 years, located, designed and constructed the Portland Performing Arts Center. Mr. Ragen has been involved with many community organizations, including Medical Research Foundation, World Affairs Council of Oregon, Northwest Regional China Council and the OHSU Foundation.
Mr. Ragen and his wife, Lee, reside in Portland, Oregon. He is a member of Multnomah Athletic Club, Arlington Club, Waverley Country Club, and Astoria Golf and Country Club.
