101, 102 BEGINNING LATIN

Contents: Emphasis on basic vocabulary and grammar necessary to read Latin texts of the Classical period.

Prerequisite: None. Must be taken in sequence.

Taught: Alternate years, 4 semester credits each

 

201 INTERMEDIATE LATIN

Kelly

Content: Continued work on expanding basic vocabulary and understanding of grammar covered in Latin 101, 102. Emphasis on reading Latin texts of the Classical period. May be used to fulfill the foreign language requirement.

Prerequisite: Latin 102 or equivalent.

Taught: Alternate years, 4 semester credits.
