• Lewis & Clark professor wins national education honor
  Lewis & Clark College psychology professor Jerusha Detweiler-Bedell has been named a national teacher of the year for her classroom expertise and ability to integrate cutting-edge research into her teaching.
• Detweiler-Bedell is National Professor of the Year
  Dr. Jerusha Detweiler-Bedell is being honored nationally as the Outstanding Baccalaureate Colleges Professor of the Year by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
• Associate Professors Jerusha and Brian Detweiler-Bedell receive exploratory grant
  This June, Jerusha and Brian received a $150,000 grant from the National Science Foundation’s Course, Curriculum, and Laboratory Improvement (CCLI) Program for their work titled “Using Laddered Teams to Promote a Research Supportive Curriculum.” Their project, a training-model to organize collaborative research among faculty and students into three-student teams, not only works to enhance these faculty-student relations, but also engages undergraduates in innovative research.
