Robert Eisinger teaches a variety of courses in American politics, including U.S. government, public opinion, and political parties. He is the author of The Evolution of Presidential Polling (2003: Cambridge University Press), as well as several articles that have been published in Presidential Studies Quarterly, International Journal of Public Opinion Research, Public Perspective and Society. His current research includes work on (a) media bias, (b) military-media relations in the 2003 Iraq War, (c) citizens’ reactions to scandal, and (d) cross-national differences in newspaper photographs of politicians. Robert is a self-proclaimed mediocre golfer, and is also the political analyst and occasional pinch-hit talk radio host for KPAM radio (AM 860) in Portland, Oregon.
