Instructions to check your application file online:

When the Admissions Office receives your application for admission, we will mail a letter notifying you that your file has been established in our office and in our computer database. This letter also contains a list of items missing from the application file, as well as a Lewis & Clark ID number and a confidential PIN.

For online applicants, this new ID number is different than your login information in the online application. If you are in the midst of completing our online application and would like to continue, click here.

You can check your file online only if you are an applicant who has received this letter, and you have your ID number and PIN. If you submitted your application at least two weeks ago and have not yet received this letter, call us at 800-444-4111. If you applied within the past two weeks, please wait for your letter.

If you applied more than two weeks ago but have misplaced the letter containing your Lewis & Clark ID number and PIN, contact us here, and we will remind you of your ID number and assign you a new PIN.

Remember that it takes several days for credentials to make it through the United States Postal system, our on-campus mailroom, and the sorting and filing process within the Admissions office. Please allow two weeks between the date that the credential was mailed and the date you can expect it to appear in your online file.
