Lewis & Clark has allowed me to combine several of my passions. I love playing guitar and writing songs, blogging, and Spanish.

On campus, I sing in one of our several very talented a capella groups (Momo & The Coop) and we just released our second album! I also get to help out as a web assistant for New Media. Finally, I will be going on the Dominican Republic program in the spring of 2010. The overseas programs that L&C has for Hispanic Studies and SOAN are really great.

I think that we are incredibly lucky to have such a close-knit community of students, faculty, and staff that help each other to learn and grow in amazing ways. I love that I can participate in any activity on campus that sounds interesting.

For any potential student, I would recommend that you visit campus and feel it out. There is no way to know for certain, but if you do an overnight stay you will get a good feel for the campus and its students and professors. The feelings you take away from a visit are more important than how the college looks on paper.

Mathematics

I'm currently off-campus, doing an internship for Fall 2009. I love being musical - singing with Momo and the Coop (one of L&C's a cappella groups), Cappella Nova (the college choir), taking voice lessons, and playing the piano.

I also work as a tutor in the Math Skills Center, work as an Admissions tour guide (and I'll be an Intern in Spring 2010), and enjoy being a member of the L&C Juggling Club and the Math Club! 

When I actually have free time, I play piano in the practice rooms of the music building, juggle, hang out with friends, go out to eat, and sing! Let me know if you have any questions about Lewis & Clark - I'd be happy to help!
