Psychology and Theatre
The thing I like most about Lewis & Clark is the community. I have amazing people around me at all times, and my favorite thing to do in my free time is to hang out with my wonderful friends. This generally involves books, music, movies, knitting, sleeping, or being “a cappella groupies” (L&C has some amazing choral groups).
I also have time to participate in theatre, which is probably my favorite subject to take classes in. I’m a third year Psychology major and intend to go to graduate school to focus in Child Development. The best advice I can think of for a prospective student is to give every type of school an equal chance to win your heart. Go with your gut — you’ll know the right school when you find it.

The thing I like most about Lewis and Clark is the people. It has the nicest, most intelligent people ever. My favorite class so far has been Pauls Toutonghi’s short story class. I also will be going on the overseas program to Dakar, Senegal in Spring 2010!
In my free time I like to read, write, play tennis, run, go to concerts, explore Portland and eat chocolate. I am also involved with the Literary Review board, being a New Student Orientation Leader and working in the Theatre Department.
My advice for new students would be to ask questions and come visit. You will love L&C!
