Erica Johnson

Interim Dean of Admissions

Erica moved to Portland to attend L&C from her native Utah. She studied history, traveled abroad to Scotland, and served as a resident assistant and student director of New Student Orientation. After graduation, Erica joined the admissions staff. Erica works with students from Northern California as well as her native Utah. She also coordinates the alumni admissions volunteer program and oversees two admissions open house events.

Erica admits to being a news junkie – her favorite sources are NPR and the New York Times – and has acquired the coffee habit of her adopted Pacific Northwest home. She likes to read (Richard Russo and John Irving are favorite authors), cook interesting food, and garden. Erica and her husband (an L&C law alum) love spending time with their son, Andrew, daughter, Zoe, and their black lab, Dexy.
