Janice Schermer

Senior Associate Dean of Admissions

Janice joined the Lewis & Clark staff in 1988 and has played roles as diverse as admissions technology guru, yoga teacher, office manager, and graduate student. She is a native Oregonian, and after traveling the world, living in New Zealand and Poland, settled back into her hometown of Portland. Janice enjoys working with applicants from eastern and central Oregon, eastern Washington, and Idaho. She became an L&C alum after receiving her M. Ed. in Deaf Education from the Graduate School in 2003.

Much of Janice's time outside of work is spent outdoors and volunteering with Pacific Northwest Search & Rescue.  She loves spending time with her family who live in Boulder and Portland.  Her youngest is starting high school this fall.
