Carrie Goux

Carrie Goux is currently a small business owner and entrepreneur in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before moving to California in 2004, Ms. Goux was based in Paris working as Corporate Affairs Manager for Microsoft Europe, Middle East and Africa where she was responsible for Microsoft's corporate philanthropy and corporate responsibility efforts. In addition, she also ran a communications outreach program to European Union governments.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Ms. Goux served in the Clinton-Gore Administration in various foreign affairs roles including Communications Director at the US Department of State and Special Assistant for Humanitarian Assistance at the US Agency for International Development. A campaign veteran, Ms. Goux served in senior staff positions in various House, Senate and Presidential campaigns including as Director of Scheduling and Advance for Clinton-Gore 1996.

She is a graduate of Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR and received the college’s Outstanding Young Alumni award in 1998. She currently serves on the Board of Alumni for the College. Ms. Goux lives in Berkeley, California with her husband, Jonathan Spalter, and her three young daughters, Sage, Willa and Lael.
