Alumnus becomes leader of Toastmasters

Gary Schmidt B.A. ’91, M.P.A. ’92 was named president of Toastmasters International, a worldwide, nonprofit organization teaching skills in public speaking and leadership.

Schmidt said he would emphasize the principles of confidence, leadership, and service throughout his yearlong term as leader of the organization.
