Welcome!  I’m a new member of the AES faculty and am very excited to be a part of the department and the Lewis & Clark community.  Before coming to Portland, I taught at an English-language university in Morocco and at a language school in the Czech Republic.  I’ve also lived in various places throughout the United States, including New York City, California, Wisconsin and Texas.

I come to English language teaching by way of studies in such diverse fields as horticulture, art and philosophy.  Other interests include cycling, hiking, creative writing and learning new languages.
