BIO 198 - Field Paleontology of Oregon

Content: Survey of fossil forms of organisms with emphasis on animals and evaluation of the diversity of known taxa. Introduction to field paleontological methods and procedures with a focus on the study of the local fauna over geologic time. Lecture, laboratory, and field trips (including two to three weekend trips). A course fee covering a portion of the field trip expenses will apply.
