Content: This course is an exploration of classical and non-classical repertoire from all the great musical eras, as found in film, from silents to modern.
Generic Catalog Description for MUS 363: In-depth study of one or more specific topics such as women in music, the Age of Enlightenment, music of the romantic period. Ten major musical figures of the 19th century. Related developments in literature, painting, sculpture.
Prerequisite: Music 104, 163, or consent of instructor.
