Campus Living

August 26		Residence halls open at 8am for new students.
August 26-30		New Student Orientation.
August 26-27		Parents Preview; Residence Hall Move-In and Evening Social on August 26. Program concludes at 7pm on August 27.
August 30		Residence halls open at 9am for continuing students. Daily charges will apply for authorized early arrivals. Fines for unauthorized early arrivals will be added to the daily charges.
August 31		Classes Begin.
September 4		Last day (5pm) to change meal plan for Fall semester.
September 7		Labor Day Observed; College Closed.
September 11		Last day to register, select CR/NC, and to add/drop classes.
September 25		Last day to make up incomplete grades from Spring 2009.
October 8-11		Fall Break; No Classes.
October 14		Degree filing date for May 2010 degree.
October 14 - November 6		Registration advising for Spring 2010 classes.
November 5		Housing Lottery for Spring 2010.
November 6		Last day to withdraw without instructor approval.
November 9 - 19		Registration for Spring 2010 courses.
November 26- 29		Thanksgiving Break; Halls open, no meal service.
December 9		Last Day of Class.
December 10- 11		Reading days.
December 12, 14-16		Final Exams.
December 16		Last meal served is Dinner.
December 17		Winter Break begins. Residence halls close at 3pm. Apartments remain open for full year residents only.

January 17		Residence halls open at 9am. Daily charges will apply for authorized early arrivals. Fines for unauthorized early arrivals will be added to the daily charges. First meal served is brunch.
January 18		MLK, Jr. Day observed, No Classes.
January 19		Classes Begin.
January 22		Last day (5pm) to change meal plan.

February 8		2010-11 Application Information available for Campus Apartments.
March 1		2010-11 Housing Renewal Information sent to all campus residents.
March 5 - 7		Family Weekend.
March 11 - April 2		Registration advising for Fall 2010 courses.
March 12		Application Deadline for Campus Apartments.
March 20 - 28		Spring Break, Halls Open, no meal service.
April 2		Last day to withdraw without instructor approval.
April 5 - 14		Registration for Fall 2010 courses.
April 8		Housing Lottery for 2010-11
April 18		Room Selection for 2010-11 Campus Housing.
April 29		Last day of Class.
April 30 - May 1		Reading Days.
May 3 - 6		Final Exams.
May 6		Last meal served is dinner.
May 7		Residence halls close at 3pm for non-graduating students. Charges for non-compliance will apply.
May 9		Commencement.
