Celestino Limas

Dr. Celestino Limas is the Dean of Students at Lewis & Clark College, where he serves as both the chief student affairs officer as well as the chief diversity officer. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Oregon, an M.A. in Special Education from the University of Nebraska, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Iowa.  He has served and taught at several institutions including Carroll University, the University of Redlands, Vassar College, Marquette University, and Nebraska Wesleyan University.  His teaching background is in higher education law, quantitative research methods, student development theory, pedagogy, sociology, and American Sign Language. He has researched, published, and presented in a range of areas including racial and ethnic scholarship, student and academic affairs collaboration, parent/institution partnerships, and leadership in higher education.
