Growing Up Hispanic in the US

Come hear and share the experiences of members of the LC community as they talk about what it means to grow up Hispanic in the U.S. Particpants inclulde: Lucretia Choto, Joel Martinez, Gloria Gonzalez, Celestino Limas, and Karla Ortiz ’12. Moderated by Juan C. Toledano. Appetizers will be served.

A timberman acquires an island, which he plans to turn into a sustainable logging community. But his plan is delayed when forest spirits and an enemy from old environmental wars attack him. This not only challenges his integrity but also his dream of creating a utopia. Come practice your Spanish as the actors switch back and forth between English and Spanish.
