Adonica DeVault

I grew up in the Midwest and pursued English and Women’s Studies at The College of St. Catherine, St. Paul, Minnesota. In love with words, their sounds and many meanings, I was certain I should be a bibliopoetry therapist; I ventured off to Saint Mary’s University, Winona, Minnesota, to complete a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. Career counseling became my professional focus after completing an internship at a small, liberal arts college. I have been in the field for 15 years and here at Lewis & Clark for 6 of those years. The students at LC are extremely talented and inspiring – their many interests keep me on the professional edge of the changing economy and globalization.

In addition to a professional life, I work hard at keeping tabs on my busy daughter and son-in-law who live in Ann Arbor. I travel to see them as often as possible. For daily fun, I have a sassy and cute 5-year old Silky Terrier, Fritz, who gets me outside for walks and always has a wonderful and warm doggie kiss to welcome me home!
