Ben Brysacz '09

Ben Brysacz

As a tour guide and a lunch host, Ben is an outstanding member of AIG. He is from Tucson, Arizona, and is double-majoring in Political Science and Economics. When not leading a campus tour or helping a prospective student navigate Fields dining hall, Ben volunteers for Start Making a Reader Today (SMART), represents the Political Science department on the Student Academic Affairs Board (SAAB), leads the LC Chapter of Students for Barack Obama, and still makes time to take part in College Outdoors trips.

His favorite thing about Lewis & Clark (although he has much to choose from) is the close relationship he has with many of his professors. He enjoys that they can interact as people, even peers, rather than just teacher and student.

When asked what has been his favorite or most memorable experience of working with AIG so far, he replied, "Definitely the science faculty dinner with Dr. Tolson, Dr. Binford, and Anne. Not only did I learn a bunch about the intricacies of the science departments, but I got a definitive answer to one of life’s most vexing questions. Are Daddy-Long-Legs the most venomous spiders in the world, kept at bay only by their dwarfish fangs? No, according to Dr. Binford, resident spiderologist. And I haven’t had a daddy-long-legs nightmare since. Thanks AIG!"

No... thank you, Ben!!
