Overnight Host
Lisa is a Science major from Newport, Rhode Island. Her co-curricular interests include sailing, ultimate frisbee, and French club.
When asked why she chose LC over other schools she was looking at, Lisa replies, "Despite the comfort level I have quickly reached here at LC, I was very recently searching for my ideal school. I went to high school in a suburban setting with access to a small city, and wanted to find a college with a comfortable city within close proximity. I wanted a small liberal arts school where I would be presented with a small classrom setting, many options to major in (since I am indecisive), and an academic challenge. Another factor was the option to be on a sailing team, a hobby I have enjoyed for most of my life. The Northwest was one of the few places I could find a sailing team within driving distance of good skiing."
"I have lived my whole life in New England, and I decided that college was a good opportunity to explore somewhere new far from home. After my acceptance to LC, I visited campus for the first time. I met many students who I felt I could fit in with. After my visit, I decided that LC was the place for me."
