Jenifer Jackson, '10

Overnight Host

Jenifer is majoring in Environmental Studies and International Affairs, and is from Half Moon Bay, CA. Her co-curricular interests include the Multicultural and International Fairs, the Environmental Studies Symposium, and the International Affairs Symposium.

She chose LC for several reasons: "First of all, before entering college, I knew that the environment was my passion, and LC has a well-known environmental studies program, so the school fit my academic interests. Second, when I visited the campus, I realized how much it stressed an international perspective, which I always felt was lacking in American public education. Third, the campus is just absolutely gorgeous! Fourth, I liked the idea of the well-rounded education offered in liberal arts institutions. Basically, everything I wanted from a school was right here, in the progressive city of Portland!"
