As a transfer student from a bigger state school, I got to compare firsthand the difference between a huge university where I was lost in the crowd to a small (but diverse) community here at L&C. This is my last year, and I couldn’t be happier with the choice. The best advice I have to prospective students is to not stress too much about finding the “right” school on the first try — it’s not set in stone! Go with your gut feeling, and you’ll find the place that feels most like home. L&C is that for me. Majoring in music has been a great experience, and I spend a lot of my free time playing and listening to it as well. Besides that, I like to read, write, draw, go downtown, bike, play tennis and frisbee, and do yoga. I also got to participate in the London Arts trip in the spring of 2008, which was fantastic.
