As the Director of Academic Advising, I oversee our advising program, which involves first-year, continuing, and major/minor advising at Lewis & Clark. My main goal, and the main goal of our Office, is to ensure that each student has an optimal advising relationship with his or her faculty advisor and is given the means to succeed at the College. I'm also here as an additional advising resource for students: strategies, complaints, you name it. Just drop by or make an appointment with the Advising Program Coordinator (advising@lclark.edu; x7750). We're here to help.

As the Coordinator of Academic Advising Support, I meet with students who have questions, concerns, or confusion about their academic program or who encounter academic difficulties for a variety of reasons, ranging from depression to time management problems to study strategies. After the problem is identified, we talk about options for dealing with it.
