AES Student Activities

Welcome to the Academic English Studies Program! While studying English in this program, you will learn and practice the academic English language skills necessary to be successful students at all levels of college. Our faculty will help you develop your skills in listening & speaking, reading comprehension and critical thinking, grammar, and vocabulary.

Not only do we want you to study hard, we also want you to have fun while you are studying at Lewis & Clark College. This website has been created to help international students in the AES program learn more about on-campus and off-campus activities. We want international students to be a part of the Lewis & Clark community as well as the Portland community.

Visit this website often to learn more about what's happening on campus and in the greater Portland area. Portland is a wonderful place to live, and there are many great places to visit and see. Also visit the AES Bulletin Board outside the AES Office to see photos of AES student activities.
