Hi. My name is Norman Yoshida, and I have been teaching English to native and non-native speakers for many years. I especially enjoy teaching courses in writing, in intercultural communication, and ethnic literature (Asian-American). I think of myself as a "people person," so I truly enjoy working with students and colleagues who share my interest in fostering communication among peoples from different cultures. I am a singer--classical music, mostly--and I have four grown children: two daughters and two sons. I also have two wonderful granddaughters. When I have free time, I enjoy working in the garden being with my grandchildren, and taking our family dog for walks.
