Dana Plautz

Class of 1982

Dana Plautz spent 10 years in the Hollywood entertainment industry holding senior posts at Embassy Communications and serving as Worldwide Marketing, Licensing and Creative Director for Hanna-Barbera Cartoon Studio. Followed by 13 years in high tech at Intel, Corp. specializing in the area of new media and emerging applications, her roots never strayed far from the entertainment field. She held a government appointment for six years chairing the Oregon State Film and Video office. Most recently Plautz started an Internet production company along with one of the stars of "The Drew Carey Show" and with its former Executive Producer/head writer. Called MrsP.com it's a new kind of website for children. It’s about books and reading – and it celebrates them in a fun, exciting and funny way unlike any other website (or TV show or anything, really) has before.
