Lewis & Clark College's traveling exhibit,
The Literature of the Lewis and Clark Expedition,
is on display at the Denver Public Library
August 1 through September 30, 2005. This showing, follows a two-year tour that included stops at the Thomas Jefferson Library at Monticello, the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, and the Boston Athenaeum. Curated by Stephen Dow Beckham, Pamplin Professor of History and member of the Board of Visitors for Lewis & Clark Law School, the exhibit features 60 rare items from the College's collection of expedition-related material.

Mr. Erickson and Mr. Skinner are bibliographers of The Literature of Lewis & Clark Expedition: A Bibliography and Essays, and co-authors of Jefferson's Western Explorations: Discoveries Made in Exploring the Missouri, Red River and Washita.
