Lewis & Clark College welcomes new faculty

Ten women and seven men have joined the Lewis & Clark College faculty for the 2006-07 academic year. Lewis & Clark Law School welcomed four faculty members, the Graduate School of Education and Counseling welcomed five, and the College of Arts and Sciences welcomed eight. Lewis & Clark’s three schools — College of Arts and Sciences, Lewis & Clark Law School and Graduate School of Education and Counseling — offer small learning communities where students are challenged to think critically, analyze deeply, write and speak persuasively, exercise leadership, and be engaged as world citizens. Approximately 3,000 students are enrolled each year at the College.

College's national radio series featured on public radio

The culmination of a three-year partnership between Lewis & Clark College and Oregon Public Broadcasting, "Unfinished Journey: The Lewis and Clark Expedition," chronicles one of the most exciting chapters in the history of human discovery. It is a story of an epic journey across an uncharted land; a captivating real-life chronicle that inspires our imaginations, 200 years later. The series is hosted by Peter Coyote, and features the College's humanities scholar in residence, Clay Jenkinson as the primary on-air scholar.
