New Alumni Leadership
In May, the Board of Alumni welcomed several new members from across the nation, and elected a new president. Alan Humphrey '81 was named president, and Frank Dillow '68, Brian Gurski '99, Melvia Choy Kawashima '65, Meredith Price '07, and Lynn Roumagoux '59 were elected to serve on the Board. Carrie Goux '88 and Gordon Alberti '62 were also elected to serve second terms.

Genocide Prevention Initiative
The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and Google Earth have launched a joint multimedia effort to raise awareness about the crisis in Darfur. The highly acclaimed project is the brainchild of Michael Graham '06, who studied international affairs at Lewis & Clark.

Star Graduate
Joey Alsberge '07 is an experienced researcher, traveler, and medical clinic volunteer. The recent graduate next plans to become a doctor and work toward ensuring access to primary health care for underserved people around the world.

Taking Goldwater Honors
The Goldwater Foundation has recognized juniors Frances Delaney, Natalie Miller, and Katie Holzer for their academic excellence in chemistry, biochemistry, and biology. The three honorees intend to pursue advanced degrees in the sciences.

Make a Difference - Volunteer!
The Office of Admissions is looking for alumni in several areas throughout the country to serve as Area Coordinators for Enrollment (ACE). ACEs are regional alumni coordinators. They serve as the main contact person for prospective students and other alumni who are eager to help with the College's admissions effrts. Help shape the future of Lewis & Clark by giving your time!
