More on the Art and Artist
Ken Shores was born in Lebanon, Oregon. From 1967 until 1995, he led the ceramics program at Lewis & Clark and is currently a faculty emeritus of the college. His work is highly acclaimed to be visually and sensually powerful, and links traditional craft with a range of global influences and is known worldwide.
