Los Angeles area alumni, parents, and friends are invited to an afternoon reception and private screening of the riveting IMAX film, Hurricane on the Bayou, narrated by Meryl Streep.

"Experience the power of Katrina in this emotional and music-driven IMAX® Theatre ode to the vital Louisiana wetlands, survival stories, and undying spirit of New Orleans."[1] Produced by MacGillivray Freeman Films Educational Foundation and the Audubon Nature Institute.

Mike Lutz '85, head of Distribution at MacGillivray Freeman Films, will provide you with an exclusive behind the scenes glimpse to the breathtaking stories and the process of creating a giant IMAX film – ten times the size of regular film. We are privileged to have Mike answer your questions after the show.
