Cyrus Partovi '67, Senior Lecturer in International Affairs,
will present on "What Went Wrong in the Middle East After WWI." He will address whether the artificial borders created by the winning powers after the war are one of the reasons the region has been unstable since that time.

More on the Presenter
Cyrus Partovi was born in Iran, was at one time served as the foreign affairs adviser to the Crown Prince of Iran.
He graduated from L&C in 1967, and returned to teach International Affairs in 1992. His expertise is in Middle East Politics, U.S. foreign policy, and diplomacy.
Cyrus is the only professor to have won two
Teacher of the Year awards - one in 1995 and second in 1999.
