Ron Cai, 2007 Distinguished Business Law Graduate

A 1990 honors graduate of the Law School, Ron (Rongwei) Cai is a partner in Davis Wright Tremaine's Shanghai Office. Ron, who received an LL.M. from Columbia Law School and an LL.B. with honors from Xiamen University School of Law, is also fluent in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese. He has extensive experience representing global clients in transactional and litigation matters in the areas of corporate and business law. Ron is also a frequent speaker and prolific author on Chinese American business matters, ranging from international intellectual property to contract negotiations, and transnational mergers and acquisitions. He is a member of the Oregon, Washington and District of Columbia Bars, and has served in executive board positions with the Washington State China Chamber of Commerce and the Northwest Chinese Hi-Tech Professionals Association.
