Lewis & Clark College has contracted with University Accounting Service, LLC (UAS) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to provide billing services for the Perkins Student Loan Program. They have provided a web site www.uaservice.com with 24/7 access to your account information via the internet; an opportunity to utilize electronic bill presentment and payment (ECHO) for your loan payments; an interactive web site for you to access deferment/cancellation eligibility rules, download benefit forms, initiate ACH payments, access your 1098E form and to change your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address. A toll-free telephone number is also provided that will allow you to speak to a representative who is knowledgeable about the Perkins program and Lewis & Clark College (800-999-6227). What is a Perkins Loan exit interview?
After you graduate, leave school, or drop below half-time enrollment at Lewis & Clark College, you are required to receive exit loan counseling. UAS provides an interactive electronic exit interview with 24/7 access. You will be asked to review your rights and responsibilities associated with repayment, take a short quiz and complete the Personal Data Information Sheet containing contact information and references. After reviewing the truth-in lending statement and repayment schedule, you may print the documents for retention.
