Graduate School CCS Clinical Supervision

Clinical Supervision

This course gives practicing professionals the information and support necessary to become a clinical counseling supervisor, and to meet the 30-hour training requirement for supervisors of the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (OBLPCT). Classes are geared to potential supervisors of counseling and therapy interns. Each session focuses on an important topic - the role and practice of supervision, legal and ethical considerations, and practice issues such as documentation, burnout, and dealing with difficult supervisory situations. Role-plays of common issues round out the training.
