ESOL Praxis Prep

This non-credit course will prepare participants for the Praxis ESOL exam. Though teaching methods and professional issues will be covered, the main focus will be on linguistic analysis and English grammar, which constitute approximately half of the exam. All participants will receive a resource packet, prepared by Dr. Lynn Reer which serves as a study guide for the test. Teachers admitted to the ESOL Endorsement program after October 1, 1999 are required by TSPC to pass the Praxis exam in order to receive their license.
