Center for Educational Leadership
Creating Powerful, Effective, Career Enhancing Leadership Development Programs
The Graduate School of Education and Counseling is launching the Center for Educational Leadership to create powerful, effective, career enhancing leadership development programs. Aimed at career administrators in education, the Center will focus on facilitating skill development in individual leadership decision-making. Local leaders will have the opportunity to work with national and international experts, access a network of outstanding consultants, and learn from Lewis & Clark faculty and students. The Center for Educational Leadership builds on the long tradition of excellence in administrator preparation for which Lewis & Clark is known. Activities will be focused in three main areas:
Executive Leadership Training
The Executive Leadership Training is designed to develop an authentic peer-learning network for practicing executive leaders within schools and communities. Programs will focus on facilitating skill development in organizational dynamics of leadership and personal awareness. The themes presented will touch on the very core of the leaders' experience and the skills needed to partner effectively with the communities they serve and the various groups that represent those communities.
