Students in Lewis & Clark's ACS-certified Chemistry program are active learners of chemistry. Chemistry faculty and staff are dedicated to chemistry education.

The department has an excellent array of state-of-the-art chemical instrumentation available to chemistry students, and our rigorous curriculum is designed to cultivate independent and critical thinking skills. (See The Chemistry Major.)

We also offer interdisciplinary programs in Pre-Med, Biochemistry, and Environmental Studies.
