Programs and Requirements

The chemistry curriculum offers several advanced courses for students interested in biochemistry, environmental chemistry and medicine. Lewis & Clark chemistry majors have gone on to careers in industry, academia, forensics science, medicine, and law, just to name a few.

Interdisciplinary Programs

Non-Science Majors - Perspectives Classes

The chemistry department offers two perspectives classes specifically designed for non-science majors trying to meet their scientific and quantitative reasoning requirements. Typically, Perspectives in Environmental Chemistry and Perspectives in Nutrition are offered every year.
