Charitable Gifts From IRAs--Act Now!
Did you know your IRA may be able to help you meet your philanthropic goals?
If you're 70 1/2 or older, the Pension Protection Act of 2006 allows you to make charitable donations of up to $100,000 from your traditional or Roth IRAs without having to count the distributions as taxable income. But hurry--this provision is set to expire on December 31, 2007.
To learn how you can direct your gift to Lewis & Clark, contact Sharon Bosserman-Benson, director of major and planned gifts, at 503-768-7911 or sharon@lclark.edu.
