1961
Sylvan Maynard Heath Beierl 61 became a grandmother in 2004: Bhak Subio, a healthy, happy, and serene 9-pounder, was born October 5, 2004, to Maryana Heath Bhak and Bhak Jongwha in Daejeon, South Korea.
1963 Myrna Ann Schiffler Adkins 63 has been working in the multicultural and international arenas for more than two decades, experience she attributes to the overseas study opportunities she found at Lewis & Clark. Last fall, she conducted a cross-cultural communications seminar for American President Lines in Denver. She also led workshops on working with refugee and immigrant children for school districts in Alaska.

John Hickox 65 is writing a screenplay about the Palestine/Israel issue. The movie is about an American president whose conservative politics change when his sister is killed at the Bethlehem checkpoint by a soldier of the Israeli Defense Force. Terry May III 65participated in a Japan overseas study program in the fall of 1962, the first overseas study program offered by the College. He and his wife, Patty Bukowski May, returned to Kyoto, Japan, in October 2004 for the first time in 36 years. Despite experiencing one typhoon and three earthquakes, they enjoyed a beautiful visit and report that the Japanese people were as gracious and helpful and the streets as clean and safe as they were 36 years ago. 1966 Ronald Bailey J.D. 66 has become of counsel to the firm Duffy Kekel. He specializes in estate planning, probate and trust administration, taxation, and business law.
1967 Kay Brown Davis 67 is currently pursuing a masters degree in mythology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California. Her roommate is Sarah Holloway 93. 1969
George Joseph Cannelos 69 is president and chief operating officer for Pfeffer Bettis, a fullservice architectural firm in Anchorage, Alaska, offering services in architecture, planning, interior design, and development.
